Formerly known as the Papillon by Rex Resorts and the St Lucian by Rex Resorts, these 2 hotels are now run as one in complete harmony together, offering guests twice as many amenities and facilities. You can choose to eat from the constantly changing buffet at the Monarch Mariners Restaurant or perhaps in the Oriental Restaurant for fine dining and exotic cuisine.

The kids' club will ensure the children are kept busy whilst parents lounge by the pool or soak in the open-air Jacuzzi.
 
St Lucian, now incoporating sister hotel Papillon, is a well-established hotel located within its own landscaped gardens on St Lucia’s Reduit Beach. The hotel is perfect for lazy days on the beach and for enjoying a wide range of water sports in the calm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. For more active guests, the hotels two outdoor pools, tennis courts and a fully equipped gymnasium is sure to keep you busy and entertained.

Unifying Papillon and St Lucian, the sister hotels have been returned to one offering a greater variety of facilities and dining experiences, whilst retaining the warm and friendly service known to all.

If you’re looking to enjoy some pampering and retail therapy the St Lucian has its own shopping arcade and a covered walkway which takes you to the Royal Spa. Here you can enjoy a wide range of treatments and therapies within the elegant and luxurious surroundings of the adjacent Royal hotel.

Evenings at St Lucian provide a choice of three dining options: buffet-style Caribbean at the Monarch restaurant, international cuisine in the informal beach side Mariners restaurant, or an á la carte selection of Far Eastern flavours in the Oriental. After dinner the Admirals Lounge plays host to a selection of authentically St Lucian entertainment including steel bands and limbo dancing.

Please note that the St Lucian is a non-smoking hotel. Guests are of course welcome to smoke on the beach and in designated smoking areas in the resort (all restaurants, areas serving food, rooms, covered bars and lounges are non-smoking).

Where is it?
On Reduit Beach 15 min to Castries. Transfer time from airport 1 hour 30 min.

260 rooms on 2 floors in 7 buildings with no lifts. All with balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, radio, telephone and hairdryer. Papillon Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping max 2 adults.

Room Upgrades

Garden Rooms - have garden or partial pool views, sleeping max 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children.

Pool View Rooms - as above but with views of the pool and benefit from a weekly stocked fridge.

Standard Sea Facing Rooms - have a sitting area and a beachfront location.

Beachfront Rooms - have direct sea views and a beachfront location, sitting area and king-size bed.

All Inclusive Of

All meals, snacks and afternoon tea. All house-brand drinks (excludes bottled water). All activities and entertainment above unless otherwise stated.

Dress Code

Elegantly casual in the evenings. Trousers and collared shirts for gents please.
