Sandals Grande Ocho Rios is the largest resort in the Sandals chain and offers the choice of 2 hotels for the price of 1. Climbing up a hillside is the Manor, where there is a collection of villas with shared pools surrounded by bright flowers, and the central great house boasts a stunning main pool with intimate cabanas.

Across the road and fronting a beautiful stretch of white sand is the Riviera with an amazing boardwalk that extends out to sea, offering numerous sun-soaking spots and tropical alfresco dining. Land and water sports abound and golf is available nearby at Sandals Golf & Country Club. Eleven restaurants and 12 bars leave you spoilt for choice and, of course, the Red Lane Spa is on hand for those wonderful rejuvenating treatments. As the name implies, this really is hotel living on the grand scale, offering garden serenity or beachfront exuberance.

524 rooms in 2 main areas. Deluxe Grove Rooms are situated in the Bamboo Grove building, with balcony or patio, air-conditioning, satellite TV, coffee maker, safety deposit box, iron and board, hairdryer and king-size bed.

Room Upgrades

Luxury Riviera Rooms - with the same facilities as above, but with views of lush gardens, most with balconies.

Manor House Superior Ocean View Rooms - are located on the 2nd floor of the Great House with balcony or patio, overlooking the Great House lawn towards the Caribbean Sea. Plantation Villa 1-Bedroom Suites - with pool (shared with 2-4 other villas), patio or balcony, living room, CD player, in-room bar, fridge, elegant bedroom, 4-poster bed and concierge service.

A wide range of other room upgrades are also available, some with butler service.
