The East Winds Inn St Lucia is one of our favourite hotels on St Lucia and the place has lots of charm and hospitality and you will stay in luxurious cottage style accommodation with excellent facilities.

Staying here you get the feeling you've joined a secretive, but rather wonderful club. Hidden away down a secluded lane, you stay in unique cottage-style rooms, dotted around the 8 acres of attractive, well-tended gardens that open out onto a wonderful, calm beach.

Everyone who stays here rates the friendly, attentive staff and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The food is legendary, thanks to the French chef, and Champagne is served every night.

Where is it?

On a lovely beach amid tropical gardens. 15 min to Castries. Transfer time from airport: 1 hour 15 min.

Dining

Gourmet restaurant and bar both next to the beach. Beach barbecues and lunch hampers made up for private excursions.

Entertainment

Regular live entertainment (daily Nov-Apr. 4 times a week May-Oct). Manager's weekly Champagne cocktail party.

Fun and Games

Freeform swimming pool with swim-up bar, pedaloes, kayaks, aqua-boards and snorkelling. Motorised water sports available at nearby beach (local charge). Club House with library and board games. French boules:

Rooms

30 bungalow-style cottages. All with covered patio, ceiling fan, tea/coffee maker, fridge (replenished daily), safety deposit box, walk-in shower and hairdryer. Superior Cottages, hexagonal in shape with 1 king-size bed or 2 twin beds, sleeping max 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Room Upgrades

Deluxe Cottages - have private covered terrace, TV, VCR DVD player and larger bathroom, sleeping max 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Ocean View Mini-suites - are closest to the beach have a sitting area. air-conditioning and unobstructed sea views from small private balcony.

3 rooms share open-air lounge and pantry, sleeping max 2 adults.

All Inclusive includes

Full breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and 4-course gourmet dinner. All drinks including international brands, wines and evening Champagne. All activities and entertainment above unless otherwise stated.

No children under 12 years 01 Feb-03 Mar '08.

Dress Code

Elegantly casual in the evenings. Long trousers and no sleeveless shirts for gents please.
